Naori Takahashi
Naori Takahashi (violin) was born in Japan, in 1997. She is currently studying violin performance under Professor György Pauk at the Royal Academy of Music, where she receives the Leverhulme Trust Undergraduate Scholarship.
Awards and prizes received include a prizewinner at the Chiba International Junior Violin Competition, and Croydon Young Musician of the Year. Solo and chamber music recitals in recent years include venues such as: Walthamstow Hall, Fairfield Halls, St Martin-in-the-Fields, St. John Smith’s Square, and as part of the Marylebone and West Cork Chamber Music Festivals. Not only is she an active solo performer, but also an avid chamber musician. Concert highlights last season include a recital at the Leatherhead Methodist Church with her piano trio ‘Trio Pantoum’. She has also performed with many major conductors and orchestras
This September, she will be commencing her postgraduate studies at the Royal Academy of Music for a Master of Arts degree.
