Artist info

Hannah Woolmer

Hannah Woolmer is a highly respected violinist with prolific experience as a recitalist. She often performs with pianist Belinda Jones, and the two perform regularly in top venues throughout London and the South-East. Hannah’s performances have been broadcast on radio, including BBC Radio 3. Hannah also performs regularly as a soloist and has performed The Four Seasons with Baroque Orchestra in London, Southend and Chelmsford and Lark Ascending with the University of Cambridge Philharmonic Orchestra in 2011.

Hannah has performed with artists including Benjamin Grosvenor, Jeanine Thorpe, Kevin Flynn and conductors including Patrick Bailey and Jacques Cohen. She has attended masterclasses and workshops with Bernard Gregor-Smith, John Thwaite, Susanne Stanzeleit and Robin Ireland to name a few. Hannah has a great passion for the tradition of chamber music, and tries to bring aspects of her chamber experience into her solo performance, often resulting in a great rapport with the conductor and an intimacy with the audience very rarely seen in large scale works. Hannah also has a love and a belief in teaching, and The Woolmer Music Group string school is a tribute to her dedication to bringing first-class string education to her native Essex. Hannah performs on a modern Jed Murphy Violin.

Larysa Khmurych

Larysa Khmurych was born and raised in the Ukraine and received much of her early musical education there. An alumnus of Lviv State Conservatoire, Larysa has studied under Europe's finest piano pedagogues. A highly respected pianist and organist, Larysa has performed in many of London's finest venues and is a highly respected chamber musician, performing as part of quartets and as an accompanist to various solo instruments. Larysa is also a strong advocate for music education for children with special needs, and spends a great deal of her professional life working towards this goal. Hannah and Larysa's partnership is a relatively new pairing, they are currently working on their first collaborative album together.
